The legal marijuana trade would destroy the hefty profit margins of the illegal marijuana trade making the marijuana black market dwindle. We have already seen this happen in states that have already passed marijuana legalization laws. The simple truth is: current marijuana laws do not stop marijuana sales, they only create an unregulated marijuana market where children enjoy easy access to marijuana. I first started using marijuana when I was a teenager simply because it was easier to get then Alcohol (and it was illegal everywhere back then).
